Our Vision
When the association decided to parnter with the City of Lexington and the Lexington Passenger Rail Advisory Committee to host the Farmer's Market at the historic train depot, we identified a shared vision to provide local residents with an opportunity to buy from area farmers, to shop locally, and to invest in our local economy.
Our Guarantee
When you buy from a Lexington Farmer's Market grower or food vendor you can be assured that the produce, plants, crafts, and food items purchased are of top quality and have been approved for sale by a North Carolina agricultural extension agent and the market manager. Additionally, all farms are certified and have met stringent production and farming practice standards. Vendors selling baked or processed foods have also been inspected by the NCDA.
